We have seen many new locks over the last few years here at Home Secure. Some are bog standard euro cylinders, some meet the British 3621 Standards whilst others claim to have magical powers! All in all we feel we know what to recommend to our customers.

The Lock With No Weaknesses

Firstly, Ultion locks arrive with some hard to ignore credentials.

  • They are ‘SOLD SECURE’ and approved by the Master Locksmith Association.
  • They are ‘Secured By Design’ and approved by the police.
  • They are approved by the ‘British Standards Institute’ who have awarded them their highest accreditation – 3 STARS.

Why Choose Ultion Locks

There are many locks on the market that claim to be anti-pick, anti-drill, anti-bump and anti-snap but very few combine all these features in one mechanism. Ultion is the exception to the rule.

Cleverly, to combat lock snapping the designer’s of Ultion have come up with a novel solution. They have created ‘sacrificial sections’ at each end of the cylinder. The moment that Ultion detects forced entry it activates an attack lock directly into the central cam, this is ‘Lock Down Mode’. If anyone does get past the initial stage of snapping off the sacrificial sections they will be met by an impenetrable central cam which is made up of solid molybdenum. This material is 25% denser than iron and is almost impossible to gain access to.

No test has beaten the Ultion lock. It has an 11 pin mechanism and has nearly 300,000 key combinations.

It Cleans Itself

It even cleans itself by wiping the key clean every time it enters the lock, stopping debris, dust and even pocket fluff from jamming your lock. Furthermore it doesn’t use magnets and doesn’t have any large holes which prevents against objects entering your lock and leaving you locked out.
