The Contract Between Us
Any contract for purchases made through the website will be with Home Secure. Home Secure must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted, and the contract formed.
Once payment has been received Home Secure will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your registration form. The shipment email will include your name, the order number and the total price. Home Secures acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.
Home Secure is entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods appearing on our website. If an error or inaccuracy is discovered with regards to the advertised price of the goods that you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible by e-mail. This will be to inform you of the correct price of the goods, and to ask you if you wish to continue with the order at the amended price, or to cancel the order altogether.
General Terms
These terms and conditions and all transactions relating to this website are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions.
Additional terms and conditions may apply for prize competitions, online bidding, pre-release orders and our added value services and offers. If so, you will be alerted to them at the relevant juncture.
These terms and conditions only cover the Home Secure website. Any other websites which are linked to from this site are governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content or operation of websites, which are not under our control. We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.

Home Secure own the copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available by any other means only for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited.
You may not create any link to this website without prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else.

Payment Details
Home Secure accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Maestro and Delta. All product prices and delivery charges are shown in UK pounds sterling. Your payment card company will perform any currency conversion.
Upon receiving your order Home Secure carries out a standard pre-authorisation check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds in order to fulfil the transaction. No payment is debited from your card during this pre-authorisation check. Your card will only be charged upon dispatch of the items in your order. Your card will not be debited for items in your order which have not been dispatched, apart from magazine subscriptions, which, due to their nature are invoiced before the magazine is dispatched.
Availability of Goods You Order
If Home Secure has insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you, we will notify you as soon as possible and any sum debited by Home Secure from your credit card will be re-credited to your account and Home Secure will notify you by email at the address given by you in your order form. The refund will be made as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order. Home Secure will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
Please note: we endeavor to bring our customers the best value we can by running special offers, but please remember stocks are limited at the special offer price, and subject to availability. We update our website as quickly as we can to minimise disappointment. The process of updating the website when goods have sold out at promotional price can take a few hours to update.
Cancellation, Returns & Refunds
You may cancel your order and return the items purchased to us by giving us notice of cancellation within 30 days of the date of delivery. Repairs, Replacements & Warranties
If you discover a fault with an item purchased from us then we may offer a repair, replacement or refund if the item is returned back to us. According to the consumer rights act within the first 6 months the seller must prove the defective product was of satisfactory quality when you received it. After 6 months if disputed we may ask you the consumer to prove that the product was faulty at the time the goods were delivered to you. We would always recommend arranging installation of our products with an industry professional such as a registered locksmith, glazier etc. If problems arise we may request evidence of this to determine if a fault has potentially arisen due to misuse. Items such as additional keys, locks keyed alike or built to code are non refundable as they are personalised made to order goods or ‘special orders’. Please refer to product descriptions for further information or contact us prior to purchase to confirm. Some of our goods are sold with a manufacturer’s warranty, guarantee or similar assurance. Home Secure Ltd Warranties
Products under our 'Home Secure' brand come with a 12 months warranty as standard. The following conditions apply:
a) The customer must supply proof of the date of purchase of the products concerned.
b) The guarantee will not apply to any product which has not been installed by an industry professional. An invoice of work may be requested as evidence of this.
c) The guarantee will not apply to products which have been misused, abused or subjected to forces and stresses which are beyond those which are usual for the normal operation of the product.
d) The guarantee will not apply in instances where the Home Secure Ltd care and maintenance instructions have not been adhered to.
e) Home Secure Ltd is responsible for the replacement of defective products only. Claims for any other direct or consequential loss or damage will not be accepted, however caused.
f) Home Secure Ltd reserves the right to refund the original price of the product or provide a free direct replacement product.
g) Home Secure Ltd will not accept responsibility for claimed defective parts where Home Secure Ltd has not been provided with the opportunity to inspect the product concerned. Home Secure Ltd has made every effort to ensure that the information contained in this document is correct at the time of publication, but cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions, and reserves the right to change designs, specifications and products at any time without prior notice.
Other Manufacturer Warranties
For other brands any complaint, query or claim under a manufacturer’s warranty, guarantee or similar assurance must be made direct to the manufacturer and we do not have any responsibility or liability under or in connection with any such warranty, guarantee or assurance. Any manufacturer’s warranty, guarantee or similar assurance applies in addition to your legal rights if you are a consumer. If you are unsure or would like further information regarding manufacturer’s warranties then please contact us prior to purchase.
Changes to This Agreement
Home Secure reserves the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these terms and conditions at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unforeseen, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
