Quick answers

How can I secure uPVC French or patio doors?

For hinged French and conservatory doors, the quickest upgrade is a lock that clamps both handles together so they can't be turned from outside. Make sure the door's euro cylinder is anti-snap too. Sliding patio doors need a different lock, so give us a call.

Will a sash jammer work on my door or window?

Only if it opens inwards. A sash jammer screws to the inside of the frame and its arm swings over the door or window so it can't be pushed open. Use 2 on a door, 2 on the inside letterbox flap to make a letterbox lock, and 1 or 2 on an inward-opening window.

How do I stop letterbox fishing?

Keep keys away from the door and always lock with the key (lift the handle, turn the key). Then block the gap from inside with a steel letterbox cover or a fire-retardant letterbox bag.
