High Security Door Locks for UK Homes
Your front door lock is the first line of defence against break-ins. According to UK crime statistics, the majority of domestic burglaries involve entry through a door — and in many cases, a weak or outdated lock is what makes it possible. Upgrading to a high security door lock is one of the most effective steps you can take to protect your home, your family and your belongings.
Our security locks collection brings together the most secure door locks available in the UK, including anti-snap euro cylinders, BS3621 mortice sashlocks, multipoint gearboxes, deadlocks and keypad door locks. Every lock we stock is selected for proven resistance to forced entry, long-term durability and compliance with UK insurance and building standards. Fast 2-day delivery on all orders.
Types of Security Locks We Stock
We carry a complete range of door locks to cover every door type and security requirement in your home. Here is a guide to help you choose:
Anti-Snap Euro Cylinders
The euro cylinder is the most common lock fitted to uPVC, composite and aluminium doors in the UK. If your cylinder does not have anti-snap protection, it can be broken in seconds using basic tools. Our range includes TS007 3-Star rated anti-snap cylinders from trusted brands like Avocet ABS and Yale, with options for key both sides, thumb turn and keyed alike configurations. Browse our full range of euro cylinder locks
Multipoint Door Lock Gearboxes
The centre-case gearbox is the main locking mechanism inside a uPVC or composite door. If your door is not locking smoothly or the handle feels loose, the gearbox may need replacing. We stock replacement gearboxes and full multipoint lock units to fit most UK door profiles. Shop multipoint door locks
Mortice Sashlocks and Deadlocks
For timber and wooden doors, a mortice sashlock or deadlock is the standard security solution. Our sashlocks are rated to BS3621 — the British Standard recognised by most UK home insurance providers. Featuring steel deadbolts, hammer-proof cases and lever mechanisms designed for long-term reliability. Shop mortice locks and latches
High Security Padlocks
For sheds, garages, gates and outbuildings, a strong padlock is essential. We stock high security padlocks with hardened steel shackles and anti-pick mechanisms from leading brands. Shop Padlocks
Keypad Door Locks
For keyless entry, our digital keypad locks allow you to unlock your door using a PIN code — no keys required. Ideal for rental properties, Airbnbs, offices and homes where multiple people need access. Shop keypad door locks
How to Choose the Right Door Lock
Choosing the right security lock depends on your door type, your insurance requirements and the level of protection you need. Here is a simple guide:
uPVC or composite doors
You need a euro cylinder lock. For maximum security, choose a TS007 3-Star anti-snap cylinder. If your multipoint locking mechanism is faulty, you may also need a replacement gearbox. Browse euro cylinders
Timber or wooden front doors
You need a mortice sashlock or deadlock rated to BS3621. This is the standard most UK insurers require for wooden external doors. Browse mortice locks
Back doors and patio doors
Consider a thumb turn euro cylinder for quick exit from the inside, combined with patio security bolts for sliding doors.
Multiple doors with one key
If you have a front door and back door that both use euro cylinders, keyed alike sets let you operate both locks with a single key. Shop keyed alike cylinders

What Makes a Door Lock "High Security"?
Not all door locks offer the same level of protection. In the UK, there are two main security standards to look for:
TS007 (Euro Cylinders)
This is the British Standard for euro profile cylinder locks. Locks are rated from 1-Star to 3-Star. A 3-Star rated cylinder has been independently tested to resist snapping, bumping, drilling, picking and plug extraction. For maximum security on uPVC and composite doors, always choose a 3-Star rated cylinder.
BS3621 (Mortice Locks)
This is the British Standard for mortice deadlocks and sashlocks used on timber doors. Locks that meet BS3621 are required by most UK home insurance policies for external wooden doors.
Sold Secure
An additional independent testing standard operated in partnership with the Master Locksmith Association. Locks rated to Sold Secure Diamond have passed the most rigorous forced entry tests available.
If your current door lock does not carry any of these ratings, upgrading to a certified lock is one of the most cost-effective security improvements you can make. Our guide on why cheap door locks cost you more in the long run explains the hidden risks of uncertified locks.
